Learning to be a child again...

Well, it's only about 4 more days till my dear husband is supposed to come home and let me tell you...I'm getting EXCITED!!! I've still got a million and one things that I need to get done before then, but I've been enjoying every minute of it. Today, I got the finishing touches on welcome home gifts for him.These are a couple of movies that I know he's been wanting for awhile and a book by one of our mutually favorite artists.I've also been thinking a lot about, how too often I waver toward being a more serious person, and I feel that something that will help our marriage grow even stronger is to learn to be a kid again...hence the silly string and bubbles!
With that in mind and with knowing how much we really love going to the beach, I just had to snag these cute beach towels for both of us.Last time we were at the beach we thought about how much fun it would be to build a sand castle, so as I passed the toy isle, I had to get this basket full of beach toys that will let us build to our heart's content. I also bought the sidewalk chalk for a fun little idea I've had.Instead of trying to find a way to hang welcome home banners, that won't be gone with the wind, I decided that I'll take the chalk and write it out on our walk. And because I just couldn't resist trying it out....Hope everyone has a great day today and finds small ways to let their inner child have a bit of fun!
