Tender Graces: A Review

I finally got my copy of Tender Graces a couple of days ago and could hardly wait to delve right into the middle of things. Little did I know just how wonderful and thoughtful this book would turn out to be. For the past few years, I've had a problem where I start a book I'm interested in and then I just end up not being able to finish it. I can assure you though, with this book, that definitely wasn't the case! I believe I got it on Thursday afternoon and by midday on Friday I was reading the last pages. Tender Graces is a book that will draw you in...keep you captivated...and leave you wanting to know more. I'm sure any of you that do read it will agree with me when I say that I can hardly wait for the next book in the saga! Kathryn Magendie's style of writing is easy to follow with a flow that is lyrical and enchanting. I don't often recommend many books, but this is one that I can whole-heartedly stand behind! Ms. Magendie...it's amazing...simply amazing!!

I'm almost finished with my copy and I JUST LOVE IT. I'm doing a review, too, in a couple of days.

Okay....if you both could see me right now - in my robe and bare feet, sitting on my red couch, with the windows open to let in a mountain breeze - deep creek blend coffee at my side....and tears threatending to drip over my lashes- nothing surprised me but the tears - first because I'm an old toughie, and second because I didn't know I could be so emotional about what has been said about my words and about Virginia Kate and her story.

Thank you, thank you - and thank you Barbara... this made my morning feel light and beautiful.

What a beautifully written review. My thoughts exactly.
I also LOVED the book written in the sweet southern tounge of a child.

BRAVO Kathryn!

I just read someone else's blog yesterday that mentioned how awesome this book is. Maybe I should try and find a copy.
